Exhibition - Theatre by the Lake, Keswick
Starting on Monday 2nd December and running for two months, this exhibition is entitled Winter in the Lake District. There are over 30 framed prints on the walls of the Circle Bar on the theatre's first floor. The colour prints are of course of winter landscapes. They vary in size between A4 and A3 and there are several in panoramic format, being professional scans made from transparencies from the days when I used that sort of film camera. I've sneaked in a few of my favourite images from just outside the Lake District and also for sale are copies of my 2010 book, Winter in the Lake District. I've deliberately pitched the price of the prints low at £60 or £80 and hope that they will soon be flying off the walls!
The mounted images are simply framed in oak by J & M Simpson of Skelton
