Welcome to Val Corbett Photography

I work as a freelance photographer, lucky enough to live on the eastern fringes of the Lake District. Over the past 30 years I have built up an extensive photographic library of images of the Lake District, the lesser-known beautiful outer fringes in Cumbria as well as seasonal details. I have also become recognised for my garden photography, which is frequently published in magazines such as Country Life. The book Gardens of the Lake District, written by Tim Longville and published by Frances Lincoln won the award ‘Lakeland Book of the Year’ in 2008. This success has been followed by a number of prize-winning books.
